  • Gongmeng Chen

  • Board Chairman and President of GTA
  • Founding President of the China Quantitative Investment Research Institute
  • Professor and Doctoral Advisor of Finance at Shanghai Jiao Tong University

  • Before founding GTA, Professor Chen was a finance professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Beyond the academic world, he acted as an economic advisor for central ministries and provincial/municipal governments by providing them policy research reports. In 2014, he was listed as one of the “Most Cited Chinese Researchers” by Elsevier, showcasing his significant influence on venture capital.

  • Professor Gao was the Assistant Director and research fellow of the China Accounting and Finance Research Centre at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, an honorary research fellow at Hong Kong Baptist University School of Business, and a research, management, and financial consultant for enterprises in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

  • In addition to his position at GTA, Dr. Liao concurrently acts as Board Chairman of Bluesource Capital Co., Ltd., Executive Chairman of Hong Kong China Educational Fund, a special expert of SME Listing Union of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and a review expert of the Ningbo Municipal Government Guidance Fund Management Committee.

  • Dr. Song is a professor and Director of the Finance Department at Peking University, a permanent professor of Business and Economics at the University of Hong Kong, an adjunct professor and doctoral advisor at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and a part-time research fellow of the Milken Institute. 




  • Liyan Wang

  • Chief Expert of Major Projects, supported by the National Social Science Foundation

  • Previously, Professor Wang was the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Economic Science, and Editor-in-Chief of China Accounting Review, Director of the Environmental Audit Committee of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, Director of the IMA (China) Education Steering Committee, and a member of the Ethics Committee of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountant.




  • Xudong Qiu 

  • Senior Vice President of GTA

  • Executive MBA, Fudan University

  • Previously, Professor Qiu has also acted as Board Chairman of a joint venture company, and served as a counselor and expert at Gerson Lehrman Group.

  • Dr. Ding held positions in various government departments as well as the research department, and she was once the Vice-President at China Venture Capital Research Institute and Director of the Research & Publication Department of the Institute.
